Chris

I took a sequel of photographs of Chris whilst talking to him to capture different facial expressions and actions. The pictures I have picked were my favorite photographs out of the series i had taken. I enjoyed taking the photos of Chris it was entertaining, I also liked having the photos taken of myself by Chris.

Kedleston Hall

I have made a slideshow of eight photos that I took at Kedleston Hall, it's an old stately home full of artifacts, sculptures and paintings. My favorite part of Kedleston were the high patterned ceilings and the stuffed animal room.

Martin Parr

 

The girl poses for the picture whilst the children in the background are oblivious to the camera, only interested in getting their ice-creams. I chose this photograph as my favorite because i liked how fed up she looks. The photographer voyeuristic in the way he has captured the children. The colour scheme is subtle and hints of the seaside.

West Block

 

The light is so beautiful here reflecting off the trees, steps and wall giving light and shadow. The contrast of the blues of the steps against the trees and building is really effective.

The Dome

 

 I found this red light above a door i haven't got a clue what it is for. I like how you can see the texture of the wallpaper and the loneliness of the little light.

North Block 2

I like the yellowness reflecting from the light and the walls and the mystery of the closed doors at the end. The perspective draws you into the corridor.

The Libary

 

I just like the minimal display of the magazines, the titles say it all. Physcology mixed with Fashion from the depth of the mind to the shallowness of fashion. The image and colours actually look old fashioned.
